Nomad Group Coaching

Our group coaching program is designed to to meet the needs of our large and varied community, which includes members of our military special forces, full-time moms, doctors, lawyers, police officers, fire fighters, business executives, accomplished athletes, and retired grandparents.

With our “Code for Fitness” : you have a coach for life, focus on fundamentals, training, and hybrid memberships. Also, general paleo/zone/clean eating 80 to 90% of the time; play a sport at least once a week; try a new sport once a year; get out and enjoy nature at least once a week; and embark on a new adventure at least once a year.





Our Classes

In our one-hour group sessions, students will be lead by our expert coaches through multiple phases of fitness and recovery:

  • Mobility drills to improve and restore joint mobility and function;
  • Skill-based warm-up to prepare the body for the workout;
  • The Workout of the Day – which might be any combination of gymnastics, running, jumping, squatting, kettlebells, Olympic weightlifting, and more;
  • Post-workout recovery techniques to prepare you for the rest of your day and for your next workout.

 Our Programming

Our group coaching programming is “health” based, not focused on competition.  We are here to help to you do “life” better:  with your family and have an overall sense of well being.  Health is the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit; especially :  freedom from physical disease or pain.  Fitness equals wellness. If you are injured, excessively sore or overly tired as a result of your exercise regime, then you are not “fit.”

website-8The design of the workout of the day (WOD) program is the MOST important difference between CrossFit boxes. CrossFit works, fast. But, more CrossFit does not equal better CrossFit. Excessive repetitive movements, improper scaling, or complex exercises under fatigue can leave people sore and possibly injured.
